Senior Reflection series: Hillary Litherland

My time in college has been a season of becoming. Point Loma has helped shape and grow me into the woman I am today, and has taught me so much more than I could have ever expected. PLNU has given me the space to grow and question, to learn and challenge, to seek and marvel, to adventure and become.

I have formed relationships I have come to cherish in the people, professors, and mentors here, I have discovered my voice and my adoration for words in the Literature department, I found my love for people and our unique stories as an RA, I uncovered my heart for the ministry of love and justice in our broken and hurting world through my mentors, classes, and church and I have grown in my faith in Jesus Christ that teaches me what it means to love and live courageously everyday. Because of this place, I have been able to become who I was meant to be and open the doors that lead to my dreams.

Litherland is a literature major, resident assistant to the best hall in Nease and spends all her free time either outside in the sunshine or at coffee shops around San Diego. She loves a good rap song and spontaneous dance parties.
