Point Loma Nazarene University’s Baseball Team began their season last weekend against California State University, Monterey Bay. On Friday, the teams dueled in a double-header, losing the first match 3-8, and winning the second 4-0.
Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Carroll B. Land Stadium, the Sea Lions aimed to break the tie, but failed, losing the final game 9-14. The team enters the season atop the PacWest preseason poll.
