As this school year comes to a close, I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read the sports section of The Point and even more so, the people who took the time to give my writers and me feedback on the stories we have written.

I would also like to thank my staff writers Andrew Hansen, Dakota Campagna, and Griffin Aseltine, who devoted each week to writing whatever stories I threw at them and always came up with new and interesting ideas on how to address a story. It was their eagerness and willingness to report that made being their sports editor so easy.

Without Andrew’s ability to invoke a sense of humor in his stories, Dakota’s passion, and Griffin’s attention to detail, the sports section would not have been nearly as interesting. I am so happy that I got a chance to work with all three of them before I graduate.

As excited as I am for my future beyond PLNU, I will miss the family that we have built at The Point. This was a special year for our newspaper and I can’t wait to see how it evolves and flourishes after this team of editors graduate.
