We did a little crying and a little more talking
About our parents and all we’re gonna do different
About therapy and about our ex boyfriends
Coop told us about his love life
Ethan got everyone glass cups
We laughed a lot, feeling just how much we had missed each other that summer
Then we got salami & wrapped it in some cheese
While we did the puzzle on top the dining room table
With a cracked coors and mt joy playing
And so our first saturday night of sophomore year
Was spent sitting at the dining room table
All of us across from the people we loved
Sharing this time and this place
And it was then that i realized
I wouldn’t rather be anywhere else
And that no company
Was more precious than mine
