Hey Lomans! Welcome to the spring semester and the start of 2025. The ASB Campus Current is back to keep you informed about important updates, exciting events and everything you need to know to start the semester off strong.
ASB Elections & Leadership Applications
It’s officially ASB Board of Directors Elections and Leadership Application season! This is your chance to step into a leadership role and get more involved on campus.
Leadership applications have been sent out to all students, providing the opportunity to apply for multiple leadership positions with just one application. These include ASB personnel roles such as Hooligans, Senate, CAB, Media Team, ASB Coordinators and positions on the Board of Directors. If you’re interested in any of these roles, completing the leadership application is a required step. So make sure to check your email and keep an eye out for further details throughout the month!
If you are interested in running for a Board of Directors position and already attended one of our informational meetings last week, you must also attend one of the leadership training sessions on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. or Thursday, Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.

Open Gym Opportunities
Through collaboration with Senate, we are excited to announce we now have open gym hours for students, staff and faculty. Now available on weekends from 7–11 p.m. throughout January and February. Whether you’re up for a pick-up basketball game or looking to fit in a weightlifting session, this is a chance to make the most of our facilities.
Timeout Thursdays
Last but certainly not least, Timeout Chapel is back with a whole new list of amazing student speakers. Take a break from the busy week, recharge and connect with others every Thursday night at 9 p.m. You won’t want to miss these meaningful moments.
Here’s to a fantastic start to the spring semester. Stay tuned for more updates, events and opportunities in the next edition of the ASB Campus Current. See you around campus Lomans, and as always — Point Up!
