Petition Concerning Chapel Practices

The following documents were sent to specific leaders and staff in Student Life and Formation (SLAF) and ASB by third-year student, Noah Shaw, on Sept. 25. The first document is a signature document that contains 229 student signatures and one alumni signature. The document labeled, “Petition Accompanying Document” was written solely by Shaw and includes a section of “notable signatures.” A representative from ASB requested that their name not be included which is why there is a blocked-out signature.

On Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, The Point wrote an article covering the petition and SLAF’s response. The article can be read at this link
