#38 Matt Rose, a December 2014 graduate, of the Portland Timbers 2 USL professional soccer team, had his hands full Saturday night at Bonney Field in Sacramento against an aggressive offensive effort by the Sacramento Republic FC. The game was the second matchup for the teams this year. After winning the first match earlier in the year 1 to nil, the Timbers fell to the Republic 3-0. The loss drops the Timbers 2 (2-1-1) to 4th in the Western Conference and the Sacramento Republic FC (3-2-0) rises into to 3rd .
