Title IX Office

“The Title IX office provides resources to students who have experienced discrimination on the basis of sex or sexual misconduct which includes sexual assault, stalking and domestic and dating violence. This can include access to university health services, counseling services, academic accommodations, housing accommodations and no contact orders. The Title IX Office can also assist students with filing a complaint against other PLNU community members and/or making a criminal complaint. However, this is not required to receive the resources mentioned above.  Additionally, victims and witnesses to sexual misconduct may receive amnesty for low-level student conduct violations, such as alcohol use, to encourage reporting and access to resources.

For more information about the Title IX Office, please visit https://www.pointloma.edu/title-ix.

If you are a victim of sexual misconduct, you can also find more information about University Services at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EUvs4CLwU_DNyh1ttj6oWyKSRzpZ2em9/view

The Title IX office also provides support to pregnant and parenting students (no matter their marital status – unmarried students will not be dismissed from housing or from the University).

More information can be found at https://www.pointloma.edu/title-ix/pregnancy-parenting.”
